A separate inspection service

Interior Drain Stack Camera Inspection

See the condition of an accessible drain stack before committing to exploratory wall opening.

A drain stack is a vertical pipe that carries wastewater through a building. Where configuration and access are suitable, we introduce a camera through a roof vent or another approved access point to inspect one selected, accessible stack.

Where observable, the inspection can document visible cracking, deterioration, separated joints, buildup, and obstructions. We provide recorded video, photos of significant findings, and a digital summary.

Requests remain pending access and scope review. No appointment is automatically confirmed, and no payment is required.

Clear limits

What the camera can—and cannot—establish

  • One stack inspection does not automatically cover connected kitchen, bathroom, or laundry branch drains.
  • A roof vent is not guaranteed to provide a navigable route through the intended stack.
  • Visibility and coverage depend on access, pipe diameter, bends, connections, buildup, and obstructions.
  • Video inspection does not certify leak-tightness, remaining wall thickness, code compliance, or future service life.
  • Additional testing or selective opening may still be necessary.
  • Roof access must be assessed and accepted before the appointment is confirmed.

NY Sewer Cam is inspection-only. Repairs, drain cleaning, fixture removal, cutting pipe, and opening walls are not included.
