Sewer Camera Inspection in Staten Island

Sewer Lateral Camera Inspection — House Trap to Street: residential starting at $249. Commercial buildings starting at $599. Independent, documented, no repair sales.

Our standard inspection follows the sewer line downstream from an accessible house trap or cleanout toward its connection with the public sewer main in the street, as far as access and pipe conditions permit. It includes recorded video, photos of significant findings, and a digital inspection summary.

Interior drain stacks, individual fixture drains, and building drain piping upstream of the inspection entry point are not included. The public sewer main itself is not inspected.

An entry point being inside the basement does not mean the service includes the building’s interior drainage system.

Staten Island has a high share of one- and two-family detached and semi-attached homes with yards, driveways and long runs from the house to the street. Longer laterals mean more joints, more grade to maintain and more opportunity for roots or settlement to affect the line.

Parts of the borough also saw sewer infrastructure added at different times, so it is common to find laterals of very different ages within a few blocks of each other. Recording the inspection gives a buyer specific, property-level information instead of a neighborhood generalization.

Pipe sections that no longer align properly.

Standing Water

Areas where water remains in the pipe and may indicate improper drainage or a belly.
